Wood Creations by Judy
Eagle River, Wisconsin is the Northwoods home of Wood Creations by Judy, established in 1995. My move to the beautiful Northwoods of Wisconsin was my inspiration to chainsaw carve. All of my carvings are out of wood that has already been cut down or has come down due to bad weather. I use white cedar and white pine.
As a bear collector, when carving a bear I am not going for realism. I want my bears to be cute. In addition to bears, some of my favorite things to carve are wood spirits, Santas, Eagles, and Gnomes.
Everyday I look around me and see the beauty of the Northwoods at it's best. People want to vacation here where I live and work. How lucky am I and I never take what I have here for granted. It is my hope that my work reflects how much I love what I do and where I live.
I enjoy sharing my love of woodcarving and invite you to visit my shop. Wood Creations by Judy is located just east of Eagle River, off of Highway 70.
